For the past 18+ years, I have been the proud owner of the domain name - RipplesofLove.com.
Ripples of Love was meant to be used in conjunction with Drops of Kindness as a sort of pay it forward system highlighting kindness and compassion. (Be the Drop of Kindness that creates Ripples of Love.) That dream doesn't look like it will become a reality. I just don't have the time, resources or help I would need. Pretty disheartening, and although I really don't want to sell it... I feel I should just move on. UPDATE: DropsofKindness.com was sold and is now up and running in Kentucky. I actually LOVE what it became. So happy it's being put to good use! It was good to experience the process of how domain names are sold / transferred to new owners.
I am willing to sell RipplesofLove.com. But this one... being so close to my heart.... is not going to be cheap. I know something really special and amazing can be created with this domain name. Something good.... something global.... something that can bring some faith back to humanity for humanity. It just needs a highly funded group that can take it places that I could only dream of.
LOVE... is what makes the world go round. LOVE... is what we all want at the very core of our Being. Funny how we invest so little in it. We watch our leaders pour all their (excuse me... OUR) money (stolen tax dollars) and resources into what destroys and brings profit, control, fear, division, anger, harm and death... instead of what brings healing, joy, growth, peace, unity and life.... a.k.a. LOVE. It truly boggles the mind. This planet that we all share could be SO different if we just turned all that around. We come to a beautiful place that has the ability to meet all needs for free.... and THIS is the reality we have chosen to create? Seriously?
ONE. I would like the amount that RipplesofLove.com is sold for to boil down to the number ONE. (Example: 6+3+1 = 10... which boils down to ONE. ONE in numerology (and the Tarot) means new beginnings. Brand new, fresh starts. Starting the first page of a new chapter. Or... possibly SIX... as all of the "6" cards in the Tarot are good cards.. Another possibility is FOUR.... as FOUR stands for a SOLID FOUNDATION on which to build upon.
I have so many NEW dreams and goals that I would love to begin working on. Dreams that are within reach and more aligned and suited to who I am... as I have grown and realized where my place in this world is. It's not my place to try and "save the world". I've learned my dreams need to be more focused, down to Earth and closer to home. Less "save the whole world" and more focused on who I am, what I'm REALLY passionate about, and offering more local services and working within and around my own community (or topic of passion).... whether locally or online. But.... to even begin to manifest those NEW dreams and goals,... I need a good, solid financial foundation to build off of. I don't want to play SMALL anymore.
I realize there is a one in a billion shot that there is a company or billionaire tycoon out there that would even be willing to buy it in the amount range I am looking for. So, for now... here it will sit. I can wait. It may NEVER sell... and that's okay with me. I know where I want to go and what I want to do... and I'm not going to settle for less. In the meantime, maybe things can change... and I will end up being able to do something with it. Who knows....
