Everything that we have is a loan given to us, to be passed on to those whose need is greater than ours.
Nothing BELONGS to us; nothing has been given to us absolutely; everything has been given to us as a LOAN, including... our time, our talents, our families, our knowledge, our experiences, our wisdom, our prestige, our influence in society, our bank accounts, our property and our possessions.
Our LIFE itself is a "loan" given to us to be passed on to the next generation.
In these simple words, it seems, are enshrined the seeds of a new humanity... a new civilization of service and sacrifice.

There is no happiness in having or getting, but only in giving. Half of the world is on the wrong scent in the pursuit of happiness. Service should be a labor of love; and love knows no barriers of caste, creed, race or religion.
To be able to serve humbly many of us may have to give up our self-assertive nature. We have developed our individual personalities and therefore many a time it becomes difficult for us to bend. We do not wish to listen to the opinions of others. ONE thing that will help us to give up this self-assertive nature is to STOP finding faults in others. See all the GOOD in all. Behold the ONE in all!
We may not always be able to do exceptional deeds, but there are thousands of SMALL, generous acts we can do... to help others lift the load on the rough road of life.
The "world" measures a man by how many serve him.... "SPIRIT" measures a man by the number who are served BY him.
There is no religion higher than the religion of unity and love, service and sacrifice... kindness and compassion.
EVERYBODY can be GREAT--- because anybody can SERVE. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve... you only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by LOVE.
